Kariya Kita High School Delegation March 21st to March 26th
Ten students and two teachers from Kariya Kota High School will be visiting Mississauga this March.
Please come support the students as they share their culture at our meeting 7pm to 8:30pm, Wednesday, March 21st. Mississauga Valley Community Centre, 1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd, Mississauga in Program Room 1.
Can’t make it on the 21st to participate in the cultural exchange? Don’t worry, there are two additional opportunities to meet 2 other opportunities to join in the fun!
On Thursday, March 22 the student delegation will be at The HUB I Unity/NEXUS at Mississauga Civic Centre 4th ( follow directional signage to 5th floor) 6pm to 8pm. Youth orientated programming featuring rapping, break dancing and beat making. For young or young at heart
On Friday, March 23rd come practice your Japanese with our students at the Peel Region Japanese Exchange. The student delegation will present a Kagura dance and then participate in the language exchange. Event held in Committee Room A, Mississauga Civic Centre, 7pm to 9pm
In addition to these great events, Students have a busy week touring Mississauga and area. They will visit St. Francis Xavier and Stephen Lewis Secondary School, The Greater Toronto Language School, as well as experience a tour of Bradley Museum and a full day of fun in Toronto and Niagara Falls.
